New PL/PRD/PU Process - live from Nov 1st
In response to feedback from Dundee teachers and in order to improve outcomes for learners, through the sharing of professional learning, upskilling and motivating of our workforce, and the production of high quality practitioners a working group was set up to revise the PL/PRD/PU process. The new system for Dundee staff is MYGTCS, streamlining the process and evaluating it against the new standards for teaching in Scotland. The one system is a 5 year cycle where staff upload their professional learning and PRD in years 1-4 and complete their professional update in year 5. The RISE is intended as a reference resource / training tool for staff and the whole process will be evaluated each year through a quality assurance survey open from Nov - Dec. The system is now live, having been approved by trade unions and headteachers. All staff should make themselves familiar with the RISE and expectations of all involved
