PEPAS In-service Day CLPL

PEPAS In-Service Day training                                                                                                                                                                                                             

The PEPAS In-Service Day training will consist of 9 workshops taking place on the 10th of November from 1:30pm, with 300 places available (first come-first, served basis).

The workshops are listed below and will take place across various schools.   The leaning and development opportunities are aimed at teachers, other school staff, volunteers and coaches working in schools. 

If you have any staff working with children with ASN, we encourage them to register for both Disability Inclusion Training courses.

  • Better Movers and Thinkers for primary teachers
  • Physical Literacy for teachers - (Non practical)
  • Dance Workshop
  • Intro to Coaching Basketball
  • Disability Inclusion Training - Autism - This course is aimed at any staff working with children with Autism in a sport or PE setting.
  • Intro to Coaching Football
  • Engaging Girls and Young Women in school sport and PE  
  • Primary Teacher Tennis course
  • Netball Future Stars Course

 

In addition to the In-service day learning and development workshops, several twilights training opportunities for school staff  are available with more being added each day.

  • Disability Inclusion Training – 3rd November 4pm This course is aimed at any staff working with children with ASN in a sport or PE setting.
  • Badminton Basics  15th November 4pm

 

We would encourage schools to support staff to attend this training afternoon. The PEPAS in-service training has been agreed by Paul Fleming and supported by the PEPAS strategic group.
