Music London Trip

The Music Department ran a trip to London to see two popular West End shows, Billy Elliot and Wicked.   The trip included a guided bus tour around London, a back stage tour of the National Theatre and a meal at the newly refurbished Planet Hollywood.

The lady who was leading the tour was very funny and managed to keep 39 tired pupils entertained with interesting facts about London.

The back stage tour of the National Theatre was also very interesting and made you aware of the huge amount of work that goes on that you don’t see when watching a production.

The best thing about the trip was the shows – they were amazing! Billy Elliot was fantastic with all the singing and dancing, especially the young actor who played Billy. Wicked was……… wicked!  The music was very powerful.
