S4 Prelims

Standard Grade prelims take place over a three week period.

INSET Days 2 & 3

The school will be closed to pupils for staff in-service days.  These are the same days across the city.

S1 Feed the world showcase

In late November and early December S1 pupils work on a cross-curricular enterprise and global citizenship project. In 2007 the theme was ‘Monsoon’ which was based around an emergency response to a disaster situation. In 2008 this is being expanded to the wider theme of ‘Feed the world’.

S1 and S2 Learning Out Of School: Homework Guidelines

Learning Out Of School is a term which covers a number of different kinds of homework activity which pupils undertake out of classes.  Learning Out Of School (homework) is linked to class work and is the responsibility of the pupil, although it should be guided and monitored by teachers and supported by parents.

NHS Engagement with young people in Menzieshill

Pupils from the Menzieshill Pupil Representative Council (PRC) met with the NHS Tayside Chairman Sandy Watson to discuss how the Health Board may develop better linkages with young people.  Feedback has been added to the story.... click here for feedback.

Christmas Tree

The Ceremony of Switching on the Christmas Tree Lights in Lochee will this year take place on Wed 3 December 2008 at 6.30 p.m.

 

Concert performers 2007The Christmas Concert this year take place on Wed 17 December 2008 at 7.15 p.m.

Tickets will shortly be on sale from the Music Department priced £3 for adults and £2.50 for children/concessions (including refreshments).

Before the concert, the Parent Council will be hosting a special Christmas Market in the school social area from around 6.00 pm.
