S5/6 Prelims

 

S4 University Visit

Around 15 S4 pupils will attend Dundee University on Fri 6 February as part of the Careers programme which will give an insight into university life.  The event has been organised by Mr Watson.

S5 Driver Education

Around 30 S5 pupils will be involved in a series of Driver Education sessions on Wed 18, 25 February and Wed 3 March in the school playground.  The sessions, which last around an hour, have been organised by Mrs Reid as part of the S5 Social Education programme.

Parent Forum: Health and Wellbeing for All

Youth drop in

Parents are invited to join us at our second Parent Forum meeting of the session to experience pupil activities related to Health and Wellbeing for All. The event will be held in Menzieshill High School on Tuesday 24 February 2009 at 6.30pm and should last until 8.30pm.  Refreshments, courtesy of Tayside Contracts, will be available from 6.30pm.

Pupils tell of their Ugandan adventure

Civic Reception

MHS pupils who undertook an educational adventure in Uganda last year shared their experiences with Depute Lord provost Ian Borthwick as guests to a civic reception in their honour.

Tesco Opening

The new Tesco Extra on South Road opened 9th February when pupils from Charleston Primary School and members of Menzieshill High School’s pipe band each received a £500 donation for their school as part of the store’s launch celebrations.

S5/S6 Prelim exam information

The prelims continue during the first week in February.

The S5/S6 Prelims are very important examinations and study towards exam success should be given a high priority.

Advice has been given to pupils during classes, during Social Education and at assemblies.
