Primary Maths Challenge 2008

In October 2008, Menzieshill High School welcomes P7 pupils from its associated Primary Schools for a Maths Challenge in which teams of children will be engaged in various problem solving activities.

Primary 7 pupils from our associated Primary Schools test their Maths skills in a series of Maths puzzles, quizzes and tasks. Our S3 pupils assist the teams. There are prizes for the winning teams.

The aims of the day are to help the Primary/Secondary transition process and promote enjoyment in Mathematics.

I'd like to thank Mr G Harkins Principal Teacher , Mr D Martin and Mrs E Mackie for all the preparation done for the event and our Primary colleagues for their assistance and the great posters produced by the pupils.

G Laidlaw, Headteacher
