ECDL Awards

Menzieshill High School seniors are the first in Dundee to gain their European Driving Licence using the new Office 2007 format.

Samantha Traill and Billy Douglas have completed ECDL after only starting it in August. Completing ECDL in such a short time is a hard work and is a great achievement.

The training for ECDL is done in the Business Studies Department and requires completion of units such as Word Processing, Database, Spreadsheet, PowerPoint and a theory test.

Head Teacher George Laidlaw commented “The certificate is recognised as an industry award and will also be useful for further and higher education. I am delighted that Menzieshill High School seniors are the first in Dundee to gain their European Driving Licence using the new Office 2007 format. Well done!”

The school is grateful to Dundee City Council who support the online testing and supply of materials.
