S2 Curriculum For Excellence Project
Each year S2 pupils in Menzieshill High School are involved in a cross-curricular event. The project is driven by the Curriculum for Excellence and the theme for 2008 is Health & Wellbeing.
The Feel Good Factor Programme
Week beginning 12th May 2008.
All pupils in all classes working on topics related to Health and Well being.

Variety of topics to include healthy living posters and diaries, drama & video work promoting good health, news articles, War time story and follow up work on war time diet, working with Home Economics department. Some of our pupils even made a short video on the dangers of smoking which you can watch. |

Preparation for a play, healthy German Food, working with H Ec dept, posters to compare German and Scottish health and exercise. |

Display of health resources, staff should book in advance to access this. |

Planning and preparation work for sculpture project. |

Preparation of motivational pieces of music for performances the following week. |

Healthy/non healthy foods – taste tests, working with HEc, identify the vegetable, design a healthy lifestyle board game. |

Haar Head project – 2E2 English section – Tues 13th period 3, Wed 14th period 4, Thurs 15th period 6 and Fri 16th period 1. To take place in English and Art departments.
