Get Organised

  • Decide when and where you will study.

  • Try to set aside one comfortable area for study - a room would be best - that has good lighting, heating, a large flat work surface and privacy.

  • You could use the school or the Reference part of the Central Library.  If there is a problem ask your 'House' guidance teacher for advice.

  • Make up a study timetable and stick to it.

  • Organise your books and notes.

  • Have small rest periods often and longer rest periods occasionally.

  • Realise that you might have to give up something else so that you can study.

  • Ask your subject teachers for help if you need it.
